The Boston Celtics (1)

The Celtics are a very young team that have just started to show what they are capable of. This will be the team’s first trip to the conference finals since 2012, when they lost in seven games to Lebron James’ Heat. While being very solid defensively, the Celtics can sometimes struggle to score on the other end. With star player Isaiah Thomas leading the charge, they often rely on role players to shoulder much of the other scoring. Many of their players have shown they are capable of scoring at a high level, like Kelly Olynyk did by scoring 26 points in game seven against the Wizards, but they still lack consistency. The Celtics will look to cause havoc on defense in order to try and jump start their offense. Like many Celtics teams in the past, this group shows a lot of heart, and definitely will not go down without a fight.

The Cleveland Cavaliers (2)

After going on a rough stretch to end the regular season, and losing hold on the number one seed, the Cavaliers are now firing on all cylinders again in the playoffs. The defending champs have faced little resistance in their first two series’, going 8-0 combined, and look to make quick work of the Celtics as well. Lebron James has looked unstoppable so far quieting those who criticized his amount of rest during the regular season. The king leads a team full of all- stars and impact players such as Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love, who are all seasoned veterans in the playoffs. When playing at their best this team can look almost unbeatable, but I think the Celtics will be able to grind out at least one or two wins.
The Prediction- Cavs win the series 4-2
